Services

From the first commit to the rack it runs in.

We deliver in three areas, and they reinforce each other. The software team knows what the network can do; the infrastructure team knows what the application needs.

01 - Software development

Product engineering

We build commercial software end to end: the customer-facing application, the internal admin tooling, the API, the billing integration and the background jobs nobody sees until they break.

  • Web applications and customer portals in Next.js and TypeScript
  • APIs and back-office services in C# / .NET
  • Subscription billing, invoicing and dunning with Stripe
  • Internationalisation - our own products ship in thirteen languages
  • Admin dashboards, audit trails and role-based access
  • Event-driven workflows with message queues and idempotent consumers

02 - Managed hosting

Hosting operated as a business

We run hosting platforms of our own, which means we carry the full weight of the job: capacity planning, provisioning, billing, abuse handling, support and the 3 a.m. page.

  • Dedicated hardware in our own racks - owned, not resold
  • Automated provisioning and deprovisioning in minutes
  • Self-service portal: upgrades, renewals, cancellations
  • Out-of-band console access to every machine
  • Monitoring, alerting and announced maintenance windows
  • Regional routing so customers land in the closest region

03 - Infrastructure & hardware

The layer underneath

Our datacentre footprint is built and maintained in house - core switching, firewalls, VPN, addressing and remote hands procedures. Where a piece of hardware we need does not exist at a sane price, we design our own.

  • Redundant core switching and segmented VLAN design
  • Enterprise firewalls, site-to-site and client VPN
  • KVM-over-IP on every machine for true remote recovery
  • Fleet management and device compliance at scale
  • Custom embedded boards and firmware when off-the-shelf falls short
  • Structured cabling, rack builds and documented port maps

Engagement

Ways to work with us

Build a product

A scoped engagement to take a platform from idea to launch, with the infrastructure it needs already accounted for.

Operate what exists

We take over hosting, monitoring and on-call for a platform you already have, and document it properly on the way in.

Capacity and colocation

Machines, rack space and connectivity in our regions, with remote management included rather than billed by the hour.

Technology

What we use daily

A deliberately small stack. We would rather run four things well than twelve badly.

Application

  • C# / .NET
  • Next.js, React, TypeScript
  • Rust and Python tooling

Platform

  • Azure App Service & Container Apps
  • Cosmos DB, Redis, RabbitMQ
  • Docker and Proxmox

Network

  • Arista core switching
  • FortiGate firewalls and VPN
  • UniFi access and monitoring

Operations

  • Stripe billing and tax
  • KVM-over-IP remote console
  • Mobile device management

Process

How an engagement runs

01

Scope

A short discovery: what exists, what has to be true on day one, and what the operating cost looks like.

02

Build

Short iterations against a running environment. You see the real thing early, not a slide deck.

03

Launch

Deployment, monitoring, runbooks and a maintenance calendar handed over in writing.

04

Operate

Ongoing support with a named contact, agreed response times and announced maintenance.

Start with the hard question

Send us the part of the problem you are least sure about. That conversation tells both of us more than a proposal template.
